Historic Brattonsville: From March through November, this restored village of over two-dozen structures is open for visitors to enjoy. Beginning with the pre-revolutionary backwoodsman cabin to the gracious Bratton Plantation Home and the heritage farm program, the site is alive with activity.
County: An archival repository for manuscripts, photographs, memorabilia, and government and other records, the
Center operates a public research library for history and genealogical study related to
County and the surrounding region. The Center also houses the history department offices of the Culture & Heritage Commission.
Kings National Military Parks:
Park in northwestern
County offers visitors a museum of period artifacts, a living history farm, and the site of the American Revolutionary War battlefield. The
Park commemorates a pivotal and significant victory by American Patriots over American Loyalists during the Southern Campaign of the Revolutionary War.
